OAXACA APP
[ HCI, UX, UI & Prototyping ]
For one of our modules at university, we were given the brief to create, design and optimise a restaurant's UI application for ordering food. In terms of organisation, we used the project management framework Scrum via Trello, an online-based list-making application. This allowed us to create and organise weekly updates (e.g. Sprint meetings), meetings and compile our work efficiently such as our designs. During our meetings, we would discuss our plans and create hand-drawn drafts of the UI designs and ideas we came up with.
We used InVision to create and develop our UI designs for our restaurant app called Oaxaca. Then, we would refer back to Trello, our Sprint meetings or engage in user-testing activities for further improvements.
We designed various interfaces for different types of staffs that work in a restaurant.
User Stories
In a group of five, I and my team designed interfaces based on different job roles in a restaurant. Please note that these are prototypes, so some user tasks and designs will need to be fulfilled for the UI to be fully functional. Although, you are still able to engage in tasks with the first examples included within the stories, as explained below.
